The host is generally the person(s) who planned the meeting. A question mark in parenthesis indicates unverified information. The Law Librarians of New England was organized in 1946, when 17 law librarians met to organize as an association. LLNE was formally accepted as a chapter of the American Association of Law Libraries by AALL on June 24, 1948.
