We are pleased to announce the Fall 2026 LLNE Conference: “Court Records: From the Salem Witch Trials Papers to PACER.”
Mark your calendars for Friday, November 13th, and join us in Salem, MA.
The program traces the arc of court records across centuries, featuring:
- A keynote from Margo Burns on the preservation of the Salem Witch Trials Papers.
- A look at the past, present, and future of federal court records with Rebecca Fordon.
- A panel discussion on New England state court records, with Rachel Gordon and Gregory V. Sullivan, moderated by Kathy Fletcher.
Beyond the formal presentations, attendees can look forward to vendor exhibits, an optional tour of the Essex Law Library, and a closing reception at East Regiment Beer Co. More information about the venue is available here.
Registration will be available soon. In the meantime, here’s what you should know: registration will be $80, and attendance will be capped at 65 registrants because of venue and hotel capacity. More information about scholarships to support registration and attendance will be available soon.
This year’s service project will support The Salem Pantry, a Salem-based organization working to address food insecurity in the local community. More information about the service project can be found here.
