Closed all state and federal holidays.
ParkingPublic parking is available behind the Cross Office Building or in the parking garage on the corner of Capitol and Sewell Streets. Parking can be more difficult during the Legislative Session.
DirectionsThe Library is located in the State House on the corners of Capitol and State Streets in Augusta. The west entrance, facing the Cross Office Building, is open to the public, and the Library is on the 2nd floor.
AccessibilityHandicapped parking spaces are located between the State House and the Cross Office Building and on the Capitol Street side of the west entrance. From the lower parking spaces, enter the Cross Office Building, take an elevator down one floor, and use the connector to the State House.
SecuritySecurity procedures in place for all visitors to the State House. Maine Capitol Police are conducting entry screening, similar to airport screening procedures, of all visitors to the Maine State House.

At the traffic circle you will be facing the Law Library will be on your left.
